How IMPARTbyVOH collects, uses, and protects your information. Last updated: October 2026.
What we collect
When you create an account we collect your email address, a password (stored only as a salted Argon2id hash — we never see your plaintext password), your phone number, and optionally your WhatsApp number. During normal use we also store your practice attempts and results so we can show you your own progress.
Why we collect it
- Email — to sign you in, send you verification links, and allow password recovery.
- Phone and WhatsApp — so an authorised IMPARTbyVOH administrator can contact you for support, account help, or academic guidance. These are never shown publicly and never visible to other students.
- Practice data — to show you your own progress and let you revise weaker topics.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not display your phone, WhatsApp, or email to other students.
- We do not track your keystrokes or browsing outside IMPARTbyVOH.
- We do not share your account with third parties for marketing.
Security
Passwords are hashed with Argon2id. Sessions use httpOnly, SameSite cookies. Access to student records is restricted to authorised administrators, and sensitive actions are logged.
Messaging
Student-to-student messaging includes block and report controls. Administrators cannot read student-to-student private messages unless a report is filed.
Data retention
We keep your account and progress data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion by contacting an administrator.
Changes to this policy
We will post the date of any update at the top of this page. We will notify students of material changes in-app.
